When I do have bottled water we take the bottle home and (if not recycle it) we keep them for summer to have around the house and to take out etc, they always end up back home. About the cancer cr@p, I just dont care anymore about that stuff. Everything we do (or dont do) end up giving us cancer, I would rather live large and fun and die of cancer then live my life in worry of something that might not happen, or something that I will end up getting no matter what I do.
Right on Christina- This is really good information to share with everyone so we either remember or learn what is going on. Marketing is powerful...and it sometimes isn't for the good. Consumer companies market to sell product- period. Who owns Dasani---Coke. And the list goes on. It's horrible and I don't think alot of folks understand the environmental issues. Just the slide about how much oil is used to create the bottles- ug. I have a house water filter and use Sigg bottles. Thanks
I switched to a Brita faucet filter recently after seeing an ad similar to this. I really hope that people learn what the repercussions of their actions could be if they (we) keep on using bottled water. Great post. :)

I hate the waste from bottled water. We have a filter on our fridge for our water and we all have PBA free bottles that we re-use. Gosh, I think that's what they're called. They're the "safe" ones.
