How old are the babies? We have some peeps and were going to wait until they were a full five weeks old to let them run around the yard. What do you think?
The chicks are about 3 and 1/2 weeks old. They probably are too young to be out there full time. We just finished yesterday. We were keeping them in Sugar's old crate with a heat lamp, but they were getting soooo big. So until the weather is warmer at night. They get the coop by day and crate by night!
Wow, I love your video. What program did you use? I recently got The Flip. It shoots video that I'm able to down load right to my computer. Anyway, What kinds of chicks do you have? They are adorable! I think you coop is really going to be high falutin. Our chickens live in a shack compared to your coop. Glad to hear your getting your garden going. It keeps raining and I haven't got a single thing in the ground yet.
