Seriously, now, somebody needs to go to camera anonymous!
Last night, we let the chickens out of their coop to run around the yard... I laughed and laughed. Most of the pictures were too blurry from laughing. But here is a little photo journal of their little excursion! I hope you enjoy them!
Dinner tonight.... brats on the grill fresh corn and beans from the garden. MMMM good!
What is a post without the current SUNFLOWER? We picked the first gourds off the vine today. Let 'em dry and onto bird houses! Yee Haa!
I gotta new toy! A bread maker.... yummy!
Have a great night all!
Ps.... don't forget the contest ends the 31st. Make sure you post on the contest post to let me know you are in!

Hi Christina! Think I've drank too much of your Sumatra Black Satin tonite! Hubby went to bed early, so that left me with a full pot to drink...but Oh soooo Yummy!
ReplyDeleteOk...aren't chickens fun? I pick a large zucchini every nite, cut into slices then halves..they hear me coming & start chattering & waiting for my arrival at their gate! I love it!
Fresh beans & corn already? Mine are still a week or two away...can't wait!
Have a great morning!
Barb

Well at least dinner wasn't chicken :) Fun pictures to see.
ReplyDeleteCamera anonymous...that's funny.
ReplyDeleteAre the eggs really better?
Enjoy your fresh baked bread...yummy!
Love the orange sunflower also (orange is one of my favorite colors)
;-)
The chicken seems friendly they don't get scared with your puppy.
ReplyDeleteGreat excursion with the chickens. They sure were funny. Thought you were having chicken for dinner too. lol!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Wow...dog and chicken seem to get along surprisingly well ("the puppy lies down with the hen"--is that in the Bible?). We had two dogs growing up: Mittens, the Welsh Corgi, who killed and ate a chicken whole, feathers and all (she wasn't allowed inside for days after that, for reasons I won't go into); and Duncan the Golden Retriever who ran up to a chicken, wanting to play, causing the chicken to go into immediate cardiac arrest....Glad to see things are working a bit better for you.
ReplyDeletelove the candids!! enjoy your new breadmaker :)
ReplyDeleteI love letting the girls out to run around. Looks like y'all had fun!
ReplyDeleteThe sunflower pictures ar great!
I would LOVE to have chickens, but the horses are enough :) Plus we have fox and raccoons in the area.
ReplyDeleteThat bread looks amazing. Would you post the recipe?
Just checkin' in Christina...
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
Barb
